Hey there, I’m Dhruv, founder of Seeking Solutions Collective. I started off
my career at one of the largest and oldest VC firms in the world.
Along the way I met with thousands of companies and helped them raise billions of dollars. Something, however, was wrong.
Time and time again, I saw the same story play out. Young founders chasing capital, excited by big valuations and eager to get on the venture capital treadmill.
While the media played up these “successes”, behind the scenes, I saw the real story.
Zombie companies unable to raise follow-on rounds, huge layoffs, founders sacrificing their health and personal lives, and hundreds of millions of capital wasted.
Disenfranchised by all of this, I quit and set out to do things differently. I knew I wanted to build a company on my own terms by maintaining control and growing at my own pace.
As a solo founder, the journey was hard and lonely, so I decided to start
writing about it and I’m so glad I did, because it led me to you, the other builders out there looking to build on your own terms and Seeking Solutions Collective was born.
